Few days back my son persisted on having an ice-cream and we got this brick of vanila ice-cream, the moment he got it he wanted to finish all of it, but i'am always on the look out for some healthy options...
One day he asked me to have more of that ice-cream and i convinced him to give a tasty mix with the ice-cream, he readily agreed as he knows that i will definitely give him some tasty treat.
FOR THAT ALL YOU NEE IS
- Grapes - 6-7
- Apple - 1
- Orange -1
- ChilledMilk - quantity enough to blend
Then what i did was...
In a blender put 6-7 grapes, one orange peeled(only the seeds taken out)and one apple ,to this i added some milk so that it mixes well.
Take a glass put a tbsp of ice-cream at the base, pour the fruit smoothie in it again put a tbsp of ice-cream and then pour the rest of the smoothie .
On top again put a tbsp of ice-cream and serve.
THE BENEFITS
- Fiber intake
- Less icecream
- Healthy fresh juice instead of packed juice which has a lot of sugar.
NOTE:- If you want instead of milk you can add water but then will have to put more ice-cream to maintain the consistency.
Can add coconut milk as well for a more tasty twist.
